Haiti will participate in the Ministerial Meeting

Marides Menager Alexander, Secretary General at the Prime Minister’s office (Primature), and Stéphane Vincent, Coordinator of the e-Government Unit, will represent Haiti in the Ministerial Meeting of Electronic Government of Latin America and the Caribbean and the Annual Meeting of Red Gealc.

Menager is Secretary General at the Prime Minister’s office (Primature) since April 11, 2016. She holds a law degree at the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences of Port-au-Prince and also holds a Master's degree in Public Law and Public Administration at Faculty Pierre Mendes of Grenoble University (France).

Lawyer at the Bar of Port-au-Prince since 2009, Attorney Menager also has extensive training in alternative dispute resolution methods and collaborates since 2010 with the Chamber Conciliation and Arbitration of Haiti (CCHA) as a referee and trainer in Commercial Arbitration and Mediation.

Attorney Menager joined the Haitian public administration in January 2012 as Advisor of the Coordinator at the National Commission of Fight against Drugs (CONALD) chaired by the Prime Minister.

From June 2012 until her accession to the post of Secretary General of Primature, she successively held the position of Chief Technical Advisor of the Secretary General and Coordinator of the Coordination Unit Politics of Primature.

 

Stéphane Vincent

Mr. Vincent believes hard work, discipline and dedication invariably bring success. This is his mantra, an enthusiastic young professional who lives by these three elements to thrive even in the face of adversities. He was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti; a native speaker of French, Haitian Creole, fluent in English with intermediary knowledge of Spanish. He has coordinated various youth oriented projects that foster sustainable community development. Mr. Vincent has a solid track record of youth leadership on issues he is passionate about such as the environment, education and ICT. He is a photographer in his spare time and a passionate writer.

 

He has been a public servant who has intermittently served the Haitian Government for the past five years at the Presidency, the Chancellery and the Office of the Prime Minister. He pledges to remain an advocate of Haiti's best interests in technology on the world stage and aims to revolutionize the use of information and communication technology in Haiti by making data readily available and accessible to all.
